Business Commercial Policies

Business companies own valuable commercial buildings and
business personal property, such as office furniture, computers,
machinery, supplies, inventories, and customers' properties in their
possession.  These properties can be damaged or destroyed from an
accident.  As a result, businesses can incur substantial
consequential or indirect losses, such as extra expenses or the loss
of business income.

The following coverage parts are developed by the Insurance
Services Office (ISO)  to provide a wide variety of coverages on all
types of commercial property and exposures:

Commercial Property Policy
Commercial Crime
Commercial Inland Marine
Commercial General Liability
Commercial Automobile
Commercial Boiler and Machinery

Under the ISO form, the commercial property forms are simplified and written in an easy to understand language, standardized policy
declarations and conditions.

Commercial Package Policy

When a policy consists of only a single coverage part, it is said to be
a
Monoline Policy.  Two or more of the above coverage parts make
up a Commercial Package Policy (CPP).  In practice, most CPP consist
of a Commercial Property Policy part and a Commercial General
Liability part, also known as a
Multiline Policy.  Unless necessary for
the type of business, all other coverage parts are often not included
as part of a CPP.

The Insurance Services Office has developed a uniformed format for
Commercial Package Policy and other commercial insurance forms.
Each CPP contains a Declarations page, a
conditions page and two or
more of the above coverage parts.
